When we launch a project, we always have high hopes. And once again, you've exceeded them spectacularly.
I'm gonna peel back the curtain a bit. It's tempting to focus on the funding achieved by a project. After all, Kickstarter's all-or-nothing model is strictly tied to a dollar amount (which you guys smashed in a mere 74 minutes). But we're not so much about the dollars. We're about the backers. If there's one number I remember from each campaign, it's the number of backers. And last night, 3,459 of you jumped in on this with us. We're never going to forget that number. It's written on our whiteboard, shared in exuberant texts amongst teammates after midnight, and posted in bright red letters right above this paragraph.
Heartfelt thanks to every one of you for finding our products worthy of having a place in your homes.
So, what's next?
We're building out our BackerKit surveys now, and should have them launched in just a couple days. Things move fast when holiday delivery is on the horizon! As part of the survey, a few things happen: 1) You'll confirm your item selections + add-ons and allocate all of your pledge dollars to the products you want. 2) Pick colors for your goodies. We have about 210 out of 250 SKUs in stock for the holidays, and anything we can't ship right away will queue up for April-or-before delivery. 3) Tell us where to send everything!
If you were hoping to make a last-minute pledge adjustment and didn't have time, not to worry. You'll have the opportunity to add on as part of the survey process should you be so inclined.
If you received a notice from Kickstarter saying that your payment wasn't processed successfully, you have a week to update your card info before the pledge is dropped. So if you want this stuff as much as you did yesterday, take a look at fixing it ;)
By way of a rough timeline for the next steps: We'll have surveys sent around December 2-5 Hoping to lock down a good percentage of you all with answers by December 10 Start shipping sometime between December 11-15 Get back to work on tongs + skinny ladle + lefty flip 2.0, and get ready for the next wave!
This timeline will get more clear very quickly over the next week, of course.
We'll send an update here before surveys go out so that you know to look for them. Until then, we'll be here at the warehouse getting everything organized for our shipping bonanza.

Your whisk’s new best friend: GIR Scraper 001 Four years ago, we designed a strange and beautiful thing: a multipurpose scraper with swoops, curves, and edges. And guess what? It was practically born to work with our new whisks.
If you want to include one in your pledge, just add $8 to the total. Your whisks will be dancing when they have this silicone swiss army knife by their side.
Surveys and Add-Ons / Combined Pledge Tiers Quick reminder that all of the final selections for add-ons will happen in a survey after the campaign ends. Right now, all you have to do is get the math right. Once those surveys go out, you’ll have the opportunity to confirm item selections, choose colors, and tell us where to send your goodies. Same goes for combining rewards, which you can do be selecting a base tier and then simply adding the dollar amounts up to a new pledge total. The system won't show (or even allow) that you've selected multiple rewards, but we'll know from the math and you'll get to pick from all the right stuff in the post-campaign survey.

What a fun couple of days it's been. You all zoomed past the finish line so quickly, we've decided to announce stretch goals a bit earlier than we originally planned.
So, by popular demand, here they are. Buckle up!
LMTD Black 3-Pack - New reward! $74 This wasn't in the cards originally, but we can't get over how many of you expressed interest in having the LMTD Black tongs in all three sizes! We've created a new reward tier with all three included; feel free to switch over if you'd like the complete set.
